Our client has retained us to recruit an experienced H R Business Partner.
This is a contract role, immediate start on a full-time 35 hour week basis until end March 2024. There will be no flexible working.
Candidates will be suitably experienced and qualified ideally to degree level but must have CIPD qualification at senior level.
Provide timely expert H R advice and provide to both case management and change implementation support to: Directorate Management Teams and managers in line with the HR service standard with particular emphasis on handling complex cases. Provide KPI reports on ER/HR case management data and trends Assist the senior HRBP in the handling of high-profile HR cases and/or HR change management interventions across each directorate and attend directorate management meetings and arrange appeals panels Supervise an HR Consultant Advise management teams and managers relating to People Management matters in line with H R service standards Candidates will have a good understanding of employment and case law and also be experienced working within Unionised organisation, public sector /local authority ideally.
Will possess good working knowledge of employee and industrial relations issues and best practice. Good knowledge and understanding of equality and diversity issues and their relationship with employment policies and procedures. Sound experience in delivering a quality, proactive and customer focussed HR advisory and consultancy service in a local authority setting. Experience of successfully supporting change programmes, working collaboratively with representative groups and other stakeholders on complex H R Issues including TUPE
