Our client, a charity who work with young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness is seeking to appoint a Youth Services Manager. The largest organisation working exclusively within the West Midlands helping some 4000+ young people each year across the region. The successful candidate will " Lead the organisations operational services in Warwickshire promoting their principals, ethos and priorities. Will be directly responsible for Team Managers, ensuring the effective running of supported accommodation schemes and a floating support service in Warwickshire. " Provide outstanding leadership and ensure that the services are forward thinking, tenant focused and psychologically informed. " Be responsible for managing and delivering a range of quality support and housing services to young people. Building and maintaining relationships with commissioners of services and be accountable for meeting and reporting on contractual commitments and KPI's. " Monitor, evaluate and continuously improve services with a focus on excellence in key performance areas, equality and diversity, value for money and efficiency. " Ensure that both the support and housing services you lead are safe, effective and responsive to young people's needs. The post holder will lead health & safety and compliance, ensuring that KPI's are met and policies and procedures adhered to.
The Youth Services Manager will actively identify opportunities to generate income and support the building of partnerships with key stakeholders whilst supporting business development projects to expand and improve our support and housing services.
Suitable applicants will have experience in a similar role and be qualified to NVQ 4 or above in Care Advice and Guidance, Higher Professional Diploma, HND/HNC and ideally possess NVQ 4 or above in Housing Management.
You will have experience managing supported housing, Children's homes, Care Homes, Housing Associations, Local Authorities and other providers of housing and/or support.
Knowledge of Ofsted supported accommodation requirements and knowledge of Regulator of Social Housing requirements.
